Job Description

The Facility Manager will be responsible for the operations of the building’s infrastructure, maintenance staff supervision, contractor management and financial activities of our substance abuse treatment facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our facility operates 24/7 and the Facility Manager is expected to be on-call for emergency situations.


 


Essential Duties:


· Supervise, train and distribute tasks to in-house maintenance staff


· Oversee contracted service employees and ensure compliance to scope of each contract


· Develop specifications for and solicit bids for service contracts


· Ensure compliance with all building and life safety codes and guidelines


· Develop and manage all capital projects and renovations from conception to close-out


· Maintain inventory of all supplies, parts and tools


· Perform or schedule and retain records of all inspections, tests, drills and preventative maintenance


· Maintain working relationship with tenants and key stakeholders related to the organization


· Verify completion of all work performed by outside contractors


· Perform all financial activities including budgeting, A/R, A/P, payroll and financial reporting


· Assist tenants with all facility related accreditations and inspections


· Self-perform repairs when necessary


· Perform other duties as assigned


 


Skills:


· Leadership / supervision


· Strong verbal and written communication skills


· Working knowledge of building MEP systems including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, fire alarm and access control


· Experience with financial operations of facilities management company


· Familiarity of building codes and life safety codes


· Strong analytical skills


· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics


· Project management and contract management experience


· Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lbs

Qualifications Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years facilities management
• 2+ years leadership experience
